I don't go to this location that much anymore because there are other Hawaiian bbq spots nearby and their service isn't that good, but when I do I would get their chicken katsu. They give a good amount of chicken and it is very crispy, but the meat is thin. Sometimes I get scared it is not cooked all the way because the meat would be a little pink. They are also stingy with their sauce now. They used to have a self serve katsu sauce station a few years ago. They only give one little container of katsu sauce now, which is not enough. Service is okay because the people who take the orders are not that friendly. It felt a little gloomy in the store because they do not have much lighting and it was empty during lunch time. A few people came in for takeout while I was waiting, and my order took almost 10 minutes to come out.
Was missing Hawaii so my s/o and I decided to come try this place out. They were pretty good! We really liked the Teriyaki Rolls. It's as close to the food in Hawaii we'll get I think. The cashier was also really nice. I would come back.
My fav is their macaroni salad! I love Hawaiian bbq beef but theirs isn't the best but it'll do. 7/10 for the beef. Service was friendly. I like that they were open early. I did errands and finished before 11am so I was ecstatic when I found out they were open! I like to get all macaroni salad instead of two scoops of rice and one scoop of macaroni salad.
Always a quick fix go to spot for me and my family. They're quick, food is freshly made per order, and clean overall. They allow you to order for pickup which is so nice. Been coming for years and slowly the prices keep going up but they do pack up your order pretty full. The mini meals are no longer worth it, just get the full meal if anything. For some odd reason their fries are so good frm here. Sushi ain't bad as well. Idk they just have good food haha well to me. Our favorite is chicken katsu. Place is kept clean. It's not a fancy dine in more of a grab and go or stop and go thing.
